This document provides a description of the methods used by the EVIDENCE project to find and analyse source material for the study on The Economic Benefits of Sustainable Urban Mobility Measures. It includes the processes of selection and assessment, as well as the rational for analysis. Templates used in the selection and review process are also included.
EVIDENCE took a 'selective' review of literature, identifying and then appraising high quality research relevant to a measure theme. EVIDENCE did not set out to duplicate existing systematic reviews of particular measures, or to capture all of the published work relevant to a measure. Instead reviewers selected what was seen to be a sufficient range of material that would provide an understanding of 'economic' evidence available for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Initiatives analysed in the project.
